Affiliate marketing sales are impossible to get if you’re focusing on the wrong keywords and the wrong people to market to.
Your time is valuable and it’s important that you spend your time wisely on what works – rather than driving traffic to your site that are just freebie seekers.
Here are 15 groups of desperate buyers to help increase your affiliate marketing sales.

Group 1 – In the current global crisis more and more people are looking for ways to make money online – particularly online. Tens of thousands of people are losing their jobs worldwide and job security is now a thing of the past. This is a current desperate market – particularly for those who have lost their jobs or have dropped from two incomes to one. Here is you chance to promote mlm affiliate program, working from home opportunities, niche blogging, freelancing, etc.
Group 2 – Offline Businesses are looking for ways to stay on top and have the edge over their competition. Do you know most offline businesses aren’t using email marketing at all? Think of the potential clients you could find if you promoted a real estate email marketing course.
Group 3 – Forex trading is hot, hot, hot. Another way to make a spare time income on the side and check out CBEngine.com and you’ll find some awesome Forex products to promote in the Clickbank Marketplace.
Group 4 - Everyone wants a pay rise – so help people get it. Check out the affiliate programs related to job hunting, getting a pay rise, and getting an executive job.
Group 5 - Everyone wants to get off the ground floor and climb the corporation ladder so teach people how to climb the corporate ladder fast and they’ll love you.
Group 6 - Many households have one person at home on a part time basis. This is a prime market to promote work at home opportunities too – especially moms like me!
Group 7 – Get in touch with people’s emotions and find out what’s driving them – people love the idea of working from home in hours that they set. Find people who are willing to sacrifice a bit of time now so that they can significantly cut down their hours in the future.
Group 8 – Suffering the credit crunch? Well, so are millions of other people in 2009. There’s a host of products out there targeting this niche – from everyone wanting to get a loan, reducing their debt, reducing their credit, getting credit when everyone else is refusing.
Group 9 – Fix credit problems. I’ve been there myself. That darn credit red mark was on my file for five years, even after paying it off. I’m not the only one. People will do almost anything for a clean credit rating!
Group 10 - Retiring from the work force as soon as possible – let’s face it, most people want to retire well before they’re 70 – so that they have the health and faculties to enjoy their retirement. Help them do it…They’ll love you for it.

Hi Colleen,
I’m following you as much as is possible! Two things – please sign up on Twitter if you haven’t already (I couldn’t find you) and second, how did you managed to put the blog inferno image below this comment box? I would like to be able to put something after each post I do, but can’t think how… Although I did see some software the other day to add rotating ads (though of course you could put anything there) Should have bought it, but spending too much already!

Hi there Lyn,
I’m using the maxblogpress plugin which has just been added into Firepow plugins for our use. It’s awesome. I only noticed it yesterday but you can add a banner actually in the post or before it or after it with just a few mouse clicks.
